Repentant Cult Leader in Rivers State General Kumasi Allegedly Shot Dead By Nigeria Soldiers
A Repentant Cult leader in Rivers State, David Joseph AKA General Kumasi who was recently declared wanted by the Rivers State Government in connection with rising insecurity in the Ahoada West axis of the state has been reportedly shot dead by Nigeria Soldiers.
The Repentant Cult leader, General Kumasi had blamed his latest negative profiling on his 2023 political ambition.
Speaking on a live radio programme monitored in Port Harcourt in may 2021, Kumasi said he has decided to contest for the Ahoada-West Constituency seat at the State House of Assembly in order to make a difference and bring succor to his people who have been denied good representation.
He accused politicians in the PDP, whom he claimed to have previously worked for, of feeding Governor Nyesom Wike with false information about him in order to frustrate his House of Assembly ambition.
David Joseph who hails from Okogbe Community in Ahoada west local Government had on july 28, 2016 led his members to sign the amnesty program initiated by the Rivers State Government to bring a lasting peace in the State.
The Nigeria Army six division is yet to react to the alleged shooting of the repentant gang leader
