Jay-Z deletes Instagram account hours after joining platform

Veteran hip hop artiste and music mogul, Jay-Z has deleted his Instagram account, hours after joining the platform.

Jay-Z had joined Instagram on Wednesday, earned a verification badge and amassed over 2 million followers before he deleted the application.

The 51-year old seemed to have activated his Instagram for the sole purpose of promoting his movie #TheHarderTheyFall

His wife, Beyonce who also followed the account had shared Jayz’s first Instagram story, a cover photo of the movie.
